There’s a thought I came across recently that stopped me in my tracks. That, when God created Eve, He didn’t do it in front of an audience. It was a private moment that no one else was invited to witness, not even Adam himself. He was put to sleep because God wanted a special moment with His first daughter.
All throughout scripture, we see God meeting women in the same way. Not on stages or mountaintops, but in ordinary places like at the well, in homes, in the garden, or along roads.
Even women who were dismissed and overlooked, God met them personally and honored them, because God leans in to us. As if to say that our softness and delicate nature were part of the design, and that He will go out of His way to seek us out because we have His full attention.
But even then, there are seasons when believing this feels impossible. When the noise in our heads drowns out God’s voice, and the world pushes against us so hard we start to wonder if God has stepped back too.
If that’s where you are right now, questioning whether His love still reaches you, let these bible verses speak to your heart. These are 10 encouraging bible verses for women to remind you of God’s unfailing love and how intentional He is about you.
Encouraging Bible Verses for Women
1. God Sits With You in the Hard Seasons
Psalm 34:18
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
This verse shows us that we don’t have to be okay for God to come close. He doesn’t wait for us to get our strength and faith back first.
When your heart feels heavy, and you’re tired of holding it together, God doesn’t step back. He draws nearer and meets you in your weakness.
2. You Are Not Walking Through Fire Alone
Isaiah 43:1–2
“Fear not, for I have redeemed you … When you pass through the waters, I will be with you.”
You’re not supposed to survive everything on your own. Life can feel like it’s all on you, but you don’t have to do it alone. When it’s hard and scary, and you think you can’t take another step, God promises He’ll be with you.
3. You Are Not Forgotten Even for a Moment
Isaiah 49:15–16
“I will not forget you. See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands.”
God isn’t absent. He intentionally remembers you every single day. Even when you feel overlooked or like no one cares, you are carried by God in the palms of His hands and never forgotten.

4. God Loves and Rejoices Over You
Zephaniah 3:17
“He will quiet you with His love; He will rejoice over you with singing.”
Have you heard of the saying that God is a girl dad? He doesn’t just love you, He rejoices over you. He celebrates you, even in your messy, ordinary moments, like a father over his daughter, fully delighted that you exist.
5. Strength and Dignity Are Already Woven Into You
Proverbs 31:25
“She is clothed with strength and dignity.”
When this verse talks about strength and dignity, it paints a picture of a woman fully equipped to face life. You may not feel like that every day; most of us don’t.
But the truth it points to is that these qualities aren’t something you have to create or earn. God has woven them into who you are.
6. You Might Bend, But You Will Not Break
Psalm 46:5
“God is within her; she will not fall.”
There are moments when life feels like it’s pulling you in every direction, stretching you thin, and threatening to knock you down. You might bend under the pressure, feel fragile, or wonder if you can keep going.
You need to remember that your stability doesn’t come from your strength, your plans, or your moods. It rests in God, and He is holding you up, making sure you don’t fall.
7. God’s Love Doesn’t Stop When You Struggle
Jeremiah 31:3
“I have loved you with an everlasting love.”
This is one of those bible verses that reminds us that God’s love isn’t conditional or fleeting. And maybe we can apply the same sentiment towards God’s love for women.
That even when we stumble and stray away from Him, or when life pushes us to our limits, His love doesn’t pause or fade.
In moments of doubt, when we feel like we’ve really messed up and are thinking, “This is it; even God must have a breaking point.” Nope! His love doesn’t run out.

8. God Sees Women Fully and Lifts Them Publicly
Luke 13:10–13; Mark 5:25-34
“Jesus heals the woman who was bent over for 18 years, and the woman who had been bleeding for 12 years.” Read the full verses here and here.
In these bible verses, we see two women who had suffered greatly for over a decade. Jesus doesn’t just heal them, He restores their honor in front of everyone.
One woman had spent eighteen years bent over, moving through life looking at the ground, as if carrying something heavy on her back. Jesus didn’t just straighten her body; He spoke to her and reminded her who she was, a daughter of Abraham.
The other had spent twelve years searching for relief and had exhausted every option. When she touched Jesus’ garment, she was healed instantly. But when He asked who touched Him, she came forward trembling, expecting correction or shame. Instead, Jesus called her daughter and sent her away in peace, fully restored.
Life can feel like this sometimes, when we’re weighed down and completely exhausted. Be reminded that Jesus doesn’t just lift you up, He restores your dignity as well.
9. God Meets You Before You “Get It Right.”
John 4:4–42
“Jesus speaks to the shunned Samaritan woman.” Read the full verse.
Before the Samaritan woman ever had her life together, Jesus met her as she was and restored her. Scripture says Jesus had to go through Samaria. He could have taken another route, like many people did. But He specifically chose that road because He wanted to meet her.
I love how this devotion calls it Pursued by God. That God doesn’t wait for us to fix ourselves before showing up. He meets us in the middle of the mess, in the heat of the day, in the places we’d rather avoid. Long before we “get it right,” He’s already offering something that actually satisfies.
10. You Were Created with Intention
Psalm 139:13–14
“I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”
Remember how God made Eve in a private moment? This is one of the bible verses that reminds us how intentional every detail was.
That is, your personality, your feelings, even the parts you’ve been told are “too much.” You were completely thought-through, and God hasn’t changed His mind about you.
When you forget, come back to these bible verses and let them remind you of God’s love for women. He is not distant or dismissive. His love remains constant even when ours wavers. You are loved fully, deeply, and daily. And you don’t have to earn it.
